Rael Bertarelli Gimenes Toffolo (born Mars 18 1976 in São Paulo) is a Brazilian musician,〔(Perfil no fapesp.br )〕 composer and musicologist. Toffolo holds a Bachelor of Music in composition and conducting from the Universidade Estadual Paulista and a Master's degree in Musicology 〔(profile on the website of the State University of Maringa )〕 He is also professor in composition and musical Theory at the Universidade Estadual de Maringá. His work as a researcher is in the field of Ecological Psychology, Neural Nets, Artificial Intelligence, Cognitive Science applied to musical composition. Toffolo works within contemporary classical music.
